Parvathy-
For Parvathy, art is a continuing interest since childhood. She was initiated to the world of drawing and painting through various private art classes in India. Her formal training in fine art began when she joined the Sharjah Art Institute, an art enterprise from the Government of Sharjah, and secured a certification in fine arts from this prestigious institute.
Ceramic pottery and paintings are her specialty. She mastered the pottery wheel under the tutelage of Mr.Wissam Al Haddad, a well known ceramic artist from Iraq. Her paintings are abstract in genre and she has been trained in abstract painting by Mr. Muntasir Sharief, a Sudanese artist based in Holland.
Her creations have been exhibited in a number of group exhibitions in the Sharjah Art Institute. She has done two solo exhibitions in ceramic pottery in Sharjah.
Her painting titled ‘Abstract’ was selected by the organization ‘Indian Master Painters – The Eye Within’ and was exhibited in the Birla Academy, Kolkatta.
She lives in Sharjah, UAE. In her paintings, she is currently experimenting with calligraphy.
Pushpa-
Pushpa Ramesh was always fascinated with Art from childhood. She started learning painting & drawing from the age of 13, through private classes & later went on to choose painting as one of her subjects in graduation. During her college days in India, she also exhibited her paintings in art fair at “Bharat Bhavan”, Bhopal (a premier museum in India) in 1991 along with participation in “Potters Meet & Workshop” organized at “Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya” Bhopal in 1993.
Though she has dabbled in various media, ceramics and abstract painting became her areas of passion. She mastered the art of wheel based ceramic pottery under the able guidance of Mr. Wissam Al Haddad a well known ceramic artist from Iraq. Mr. Muntasir Sharief, a sudanese artist based in Holland, introduced her to the world of abstract paintings and guided her in her initial works.
She has participated in many group exhibitions on paintings, sculpture and ceramic art in the Sharjah Art Institute. She has also held two solo exhibitions in ceramic pottery in Sharjah.
She is currently based in Sharjah. Her work also involves corporate and individual commissioning orders. She is currently incorporating calligraphy into her paintings.
